DoubleStar’s Combat Pistol features components from such prominent names in the shooting sports industry as Novak, Ed Brown, Stryder and Greider. Another piece to the perfect pistol puzzle has been added by using the match-quality barrels provided by Storm Lake Barrels. Starnes worked directly with David Tarlton, president of Storm Lake Barrels, to ensure that DoubleStar’s exact standards are met. The barrels are made from select 416R stainless steel bar stock and hardened to 40-42 HRC. The material is completely machined, bored, heat treated, rifled, and finished using precision CNC machinery at the Lenoir City, Tennessee facility.
